Hey people, well my test is coming up this Friday and Monday, and I've been studying but nothing is entering my brain. WHY. Its annoying and I'm tired. But hey I have been de-stressing yesterday, went to the beach again and played ball and swam around looking at seaweeds haha. There where no waves but it was super hot and now I'm really dark, and this was the third time I went to the beach in 2 weeks.
And last week I went to Caversham Wildlife Park with my Aussie friends, this is the first outing with them, and it was fun. Fed the kangaroos, touched the koalas and played with baby lamb; it was fun. But now that I have played I think its back to study :( Surgical Nursing and Anaesthesia on Friday and Medical Nursing on Monday and its done and dusted. Taking a really big risk by coming back on the 5th dec, its going to be so rush if I fail my test.

So yup 10 more days till I'm back in Singapore for good and 14 more days till OCF convention weee. Going to miss all my OCF friends.

Guess what I have finished all my assignments, WOOO HOOO!!! But I have 3 major test coming up in 2 weeks time, BOOOO!!! Well since I have finished my assignments, I felt it was time for me to play so I went for outings after finishing the assignment, and I can blog again.

Well 3 more weeks and I'll be a qualified Vet Nurse and 3 more weeks till OCF convention, but first I have to pass Surgical Nursing, Medicine and Anaesthesia tests.

Hey Hey, have been quite lazy to blog lately, and was quite busy with work. But now I have got nothing to do so I'll just blog haha.
Well here are some pictures of my road trip down south of Western Australia with my family. Had a great time down south, really lovely place to go but the drive there is just horrible; cramped in the car for 5 hours is not very fun. Well those yellow flowers are Canola flowers used to make cooking oil, and there were fields of them. By the time we reached Albany it was mid afternoon and the weather wasn't very promising; infect the whole time we were in Albany it was raining.

Hey Hey people, well a week has passed and my family has gone back to Singapore and school has started again :( but I did had a great time with them travelling Down South of WA. Took tones of pictures but don't know where to start; so I'll put them up slowly by days, and today's is interesting: WHALE WATCHING. Yes people I've finally gone whale watching. This is just outside the waters of Freo, Rottnest Express, it was great; saw 3 Humpback Whales. (the whales were huge)
The journey was fast to look for the whales, but when the boat stops moving it sways a lot and I didn't really feel that good haha.
Now I can cancel off Whales under the Top 10 Animals list. But this is just the beginning. When I went down south, I saw a whale while standing on shores of Albany at Whale World, and I went for a second Whale Watching tour but this time at Albany; saw 6 Southern Right Whales :) Will share more soon. But for now Enjoy the Humpbacks haha, and I better sleep :)

Hey Hey 12 more hours till my family is here .... excluding Claudia :( Really excited now, the road trip down south, moon cakes and mama's food :p

Ok well on Wednesday I woke up really early thinking that I could make it for whale watching cruise, but the bus came LATE so when I reached the dock the boat was leaving sian. But it was really those comical scene haha. So I bought tickets for Thursday which is today, and the same thing woke up really extra early; ate brekki, showered and brushed my teeth and changed into warm wear, and next thing I knew the whale watching cruise called me and told me it was cancelled HA!! SIAN RITE!! So I changed into my PJs and continued to sleep haha, couldn't be bothered any more. Its like God's plan I think. So today I went to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital to look for my physio friends and had lunch with them and went for Bible Study.... see I think it was God's plan for me to go for BS.. Thank's GOD :)

Anyway here are some pictures from Wednsday, after I missed the cruise I went to the city and a magical tropical bird paradise in Perth to take pictures.
While taking pictures of the birds, one of them decided to poop on my hand :( so not welcoming of them. I felt something warm drip onto my hands and it was yellow with seeds, but it didn't stink. To make things worse there was no toilet, so I washed my hands in the waterfall, and to make things even worse while I was walking I came onto a sign which says "Human Health Caution! Water in this lake is contaminated, please do not swim, waddle or drink the water." Annoying annoying annoying. But Thank God I'm fine :) But when I went home I scrubbed my hands and washed it with hot water.
O ya and the bird paradise was filled with dead young cormorants; its the survivor of the fittest, the winning baby gets to live. Out of 3 eggs 1 will be the winner.

Hi people its still raining, when will it ever stop!! I'm sick and tired of the rain, I want to go whale watching, I NEED to go for a jog, I want to take pictures. Err hope it doesn't rain when my family comes.
Well I don't really have any classes now till Friday (surgery day), and I'm really bored. Went out to Freo today and took pictures of the buildings and the waves in the ocean, but I had to keep running in and out of shops when it pours with rain; and I tell you the wind was super duper strong. Maybe I should fly a kit hehe.

Ok 4 more days till my family is here; excluding Claudia :(

Hey people, I'm really sick and tired of the rain, its never ending; there is no sun or blue sky :( And I really want to go whale watching soon. My friend just went on the Rottnest Express whale tour and she saw 6 Humpback whales off Perth shores, how cool. I know there's a dead whale at City Beach, but hey a life whale is a happy whale (and I want to see happy whales).
Well I went bird watching on the only day that it did not rain last week which was a Sunday, saw happy birds flying and paddling in the water :)

Ok anyway 10 More days Till my Parents and Mama and Aunty come :)

Hey people, today was a really boring day at school. Had a x-ray practical test, I took a x-ray of a frozen Tiger snake (on of Australia's most venomous snake); but don't worry it was dead that's why it was frozen. The x-ray didn't turn out that nice this time, it was over exposed so it was pretty light and not that much shades of black. And today I had an animal reproduction test and a behaviour presentation, followed by designing a nutritional brochure. Lecture started at 8.30am and I finished at 4.30pm long day man, tired like mad.

Well last weekends I spent my nights sleeping over at peoples house, really fun. First at Caleb's followed by Ben's. 2 very different sleep overs, both fun.
Can't wait for this Wednesday, going to the licensing centre, hopefully this time I can get the OK for my licence.

MY MURPHY!!! O his grown so big, and he has no more bald spots. I want to see him in person and not through web cam or pictures; his so so so cute. BTW daddy don't take with flash, puppies takes a year to develop fully, don't want to have a blind dog when I come back.

You know something, now that I'm not working, I realised I'm more happy and less grumpy haha. WORK is bad. Well today I woke up at 1030am for the first time in ages, it felt good to wake up late; but now the sun rises really early since its not winter no more. And yes its the 3rd day of Spring, but still feels like winter. Manage to take pictures at the lake newt to my house, new born ducklings have already appeared, but its still too early for them, and the flowers are opening. The birds and the bees are out. Didn't use my camera for quite sometime already and it felt weird using it again, most of my pictures didn't look it's best today. Well now that I'm free, I'm going to follow this family of ducklings and take picture of them. I called them the Tan family haha, 9 babies and one mum. Maybe I can write a book " A day in a life of a duck" haha.

Ok guess what, yesterday in clinic prac, there was no client around, so I asked the vet is she could watch me set up an ultrasound machine so that I can get it sign off my annoying log book. Well I did set it up correctly, and I got to play with it. And I ultrasound my heart hahaha, you know how in movies the doctor puts the gel onto the pregnant lady's belly and she says its cold; Believe them haha, its cold and it smells quite nice :) Saw my heart on the ultrasound and it was BLACK haha, well dur the machine only gives off black and white; and my heart was beating perfectly and you could see the ribs, how cool.

Ok I think that's about it, going to sleep over at my friends place up in Burns Beach tomorrow night :) yaya.

Sorry haven't been blogging for ages, I kept procrastinating, not good. But actually there is nothing much to talk about, other than I burnt my tongue while drinking hot coco today.
Well I am finally free from work, last Saturday was my last day at work after quitting; major decision, right choice. Now I have been waking up like at 10ish weee, becoming a pig.

Today is the first day of spring and its still freezing, and it poured with rain when I was going home. And today was really tiring, stood in surgery for a long long time, from spinal surgery to orthopaedic surgery.
Tomorrow I have clinic prac in school till 1230 than I'll be going to the driving licensing centre to hand in my log book. YES people I have finished my 25 hours and I'll be getting my licence soon, just one more test; Hope they grant me the licence.

It can't stop raining!!! Its annoying, always wet and cold; and its been raining for 14 days in a row. I need the sun, I need warmth; winter is finally finishing soon, and spring is next :)
Well I was reading the news online and I saw an article about a son chasing his parents out from the house, and now their staying on the streets. That guy must be nuts, why chase your parents out of the house, I won't. I would never chase my parents out of the house, only if they try to kill me haha. What have people become this days?

Well I just watched a really nice show, "Valkyrie" the word is German. The show is about "Colonel Claus Von Stauffenberg" which was played by Tom Cruise. Its about the world war II during Hitler's reign, where Stauffenberg joined a secret group to over throw Hitler by assassinating him. Obviously they didn't work because Hitler committed suicide. Its base on a true story, but what I liked about the show was about the courage of Stauffenberg; how he stood up for what was wrong, which is the killing of innocent people. Sad ending because everyone died in that group. Don't want to spoil the show so go watch it.

Ok next week is my last week at work, than I'll be free :) And right now, Derrick is some where in the state of WA, hopefully will meet up with him soon.

Hi All, meet our new member of the Tan family, Murphy Tan. 8 weeks + old male Beagle. Its too bad I'm not in Singapore to play with it, and I'm going to miss out on 4 months of its life :( Well the old Murphy was lemon colour, but the new Murphy is tri-colour and has derm problems (skin problems) some kind of skin rash. But his still so cute. Go to Claudia's blog for more pictures and videos :)

Anyway, I have resigned from working at Pet Magic, and I gave them 2 weeks in advance, so my last day is on the 29 Aug. The boss was really sad, she started to tear and I felt bad, but I don't want to work any more. Its just to stressful and some of them are using me; so no more working :) This means I can play more, go whale watching, zoo and go for more photographic trips.
Well not sure if I can do those things now because it has been raining for 10 days in a row, and people are sick everywhere. A girl in my class has H1N1 and she still came to school!!! Shocking man!!!

Well guess what, I have 2 more hours of driving till I can get my driving licence :) whooo. But it will be years till I get my very own car haha. Can drive Murphy around to the beach or parks, bring both my grandma out for porridge, cool ay.

And ya I have 3 an a half more months till I finish with my studies in Australia weee. Can't wait.

HAPPY 44th Birthday Singapore!!!

Ok I'm like one day late on posting this haha, but better late than never rite.
Well what did I do for National Day, well I went to my friends house with other Singaporeans and other nationality to watch the NDP parade online which was projected onto the wall, cool ay. Watching NDP and watching all the Singaporeans singing and saying the pledge was really heart warming, and makes you really miss Singapore. I think we as Singaporeans are really bless and should thank God for it, we should not take things for granted and complain about the food and air.
Talking about food, hehe, I miss all the food in Singapore, from Satay to Mee Pok to my own Grandma's cooking mmm. Can't wait for her to come in September.

Anyway, we might be getting a dog soon. On Saturday I called dad and asked him if we could buy a Golden Reteriver X Lab, the very last puppy of the litter. I named her Goldie haha, and she responds to my calling, and when I carry her she would tuck her head into my chest and sleep; HOW CUTE. But I won't be getting her :( Because the pet shop might be getting Beagles in, MIGHT!!! Not sure, but praying really hard.

Hey hey, people are getting sick all around me these days. 3 church friends fell sick after we went out on Sunday, my lecturer called in sick on Monday and today some nurses called in sick for work. There is defiantly something floating around the world which is making people sick besides H1N1.

Well now that I'm in Murdoch Vet Hospital, there has been lots of things I've seen which I might not see in 10 years time. Like today we had a Echidna (1 of the 2 only mammal that lays eggs) and we had no clue what happened to it, it was just found on the roads haha. And some wildlife people brought in 2 birds today as well, Raven and a Lorikeet birds, which both we euthanized them because the Raven could not be helped and the Lorikeet is a pest to WA. Sad cos the Lorikeet was really young and colourful.
And last week at Murdoch there was some old man bring in 14 DEAD Doves which he kept in his house for 2 WEEKS, it was horrible, the smell and the sight of rotting flesh yuck!! He wanted us to do PM post-mortem on them, there is no-way it will happen. haha. Well some people just have nothing to do but to collect dead birds.
But today was really boring, not much clients or emergency. Looked up the stray animals folder and saw the word BEAGLE, got pretty excited so I walked around the whole hospital looking for it; it turned out it was send to the pound :(

And do you want to know something stupid. Singapore Zoo is starting this Internship program for students who wants to work in the Zoo errr!!! They should have done this earlier!!! But you know what I've learned so much here is Aussieland, so ya. I have already started looking for a PT job as a vet nurse in Singapore, maybe I might ask for Internship in the zoo hehehe. But ya still looking for a vet nurse job around Singapore, hopefully its the vet next to Pine Grove, the vet where Murphy died.

Anyway I went to Heirisson Island on Sunday, its a really great place to take pictures of wildlife, and its like 1km from the Perth City center. On the Island there are Kangaroos and exotic birds and in the river there are dolphins, how cool is that.

Hey hey, school has started last week, and I am already tired hahaha. Monday is the worse day, 8.30am to 5.30pm lectures, and the lectures are quite boring; talking with that slow, soft voice. I couldn't help it but my eyes kept closing and I became restless. And every morning had been freezing, I had to wear 3 layers yesterday to school. But I'm glad school has started already, now I won't feel that bored.

Anyway I am now no longer with Applecross Vet Hospital but with Murdoch University Vet Hospital. And I tell you its so so so cool. Its huge like a real human hospital and have different wards from; cat, ICU, kennel, wildlife, quarantine and surgical ward. And there are so many different areas; ICU, treatment rooms 1 & 2, GP consults, surgical wing, equine and barn animals wing and specialities areas like dermatology and oncology. Its like a real human hospital, but with vets and animals running around.
One my first day I got lost looking for the nursing station to get my bag, and today I went exploring at the barn and got a shock when a cow sneezed. Its a really cool place, helping out with the vet students, looking at emergency or just getting lost haha. But currently I'm posted at GP (general practice), going into consult rooms and watching people cry when their animals get euths..
And after going to Murdoch I really don't want to be a vet, NOWAY!! Its just mad, all the things they learn and all the hours they study, I just can't do it; but there are lost of Singaporeans there, mad Singaporeans.

I went to the Swan Valley and Fremental Prison last week with some friends, and it was good.
Swan Valley was like the best place for Singaporeans, FREE WINE, CHEESE and CHOCOLATES, hahaha.

I can't believe I got drench by the wild rain today, first time was walking to the bus stop in the morning, and the next was in the afternoon when the bus stop was too crowded; so I stood under a phone booth with my friend haha. I didn't get fully wet, just my pants, but it was FREEZING. It has been raining for 3 days already and today was quite bad, strong hail, wind, and rain. And right now the wind is howling outside my window and its freezing outside; even my bed room is cold, 16 degrees, air-con haha.

Well today was the first day of school after the break, and it was really boring, couldn't stay awake. But do you know what kept me awake, eating 1/4 of uncooked chicken for lunch haha.
Anyway talking about cooking, MasterChef is now over so no more nice TV shows to watch :( MasterChef was really good, taking amateur cooks from around Aus and teaching them how to cook really good food; those who didn't cook too well will be voted out. And I can't believe Poh didn't win man! Why must she take a short cut during the finals!!! But it was really good to see how the people grow from normal day jobs to pro cooks, and all their tears and cuts from the knifes; hard to be a chef. http://www.masterchef.com.au/home.htm

Ok I'm quite disappointed now, Poh didn't win the MasterChef title. Poh has great skills of cooking and great way on plating her food, but can't believe she took a risk on her final challenge with the chocolate tube. MasterChef is a really good show, gets all the Aussies excited, it has the highest rating show in Aus now, higher than the stupid Big Brother.

Anyway, my dad says my blog is drying up, but I don't know what to write or say. haha. Well I'll just give a weather report - Perth and down south has been issued a storm warning for tonight, and the cold front is going to last for a week. Means it will be raining for 2 weeks. And currently the wind is wild outside and the lightning is really flashing and the rain is pouring, this marks the peak of Mid Winter.

Ya and guess what Pet Magic has 5 really cute Golden Retrievers X Labrador, they are really really cute. And I was quite happy last Saturday, cos I might not have to work with one of my work mates which drives me up the wall every Saturday. She doesn't listern to me and does not do her work, which means I have to do it. But now she is going to get posted to Sunday.

Yup and I'm going to watch Harry Potter on Tuesday, can't wait!! And school starts tomorrow!!

Hey Hey, I'm not very productive this holidays. Its REALLY BORING. There is nothing to do here, everyone has gone home; ok well not everyone. But so far all I have done was watch movies, go to the zoo, go take pictures; I want to do something exciting. The only exciting thing was work work and zoo. Why work, cos I saw exploding diarrhoea from a dog; diarrhoea just shooting out its bum.
Anyway I finally saw a Tasmanian Devil, at the zoo, its one of my top 10 animals to see and I finally seen it, whoo. The sounds they make when they chase each other was just angry, and they stare at you for 5mins and just take off, creepy. But they are so so cute, I would have one if they are not so aggressive.

Ok well Harry Potter is coming out on the 15 July, so exciting!!! Have been watching so many movies with my friends haha, just watched Transformers and now Harry Potter whoooo, BROKE!!
But do you know what I have been watching, Grey's Anatomy, its so interesting, I know some of the medical terms, how cool is that haha. And now they made the show more exciting, someone is going to die!!

Well ya I'm pretty lazy to type now so haha.

Haha didn't update my blog for ages, I was just so tired and lazy. So what have I been doing in Aus since I'm not back in Singapore, well nothing really. My school holidays starts this Saturday but already I have no more classes. Didn't really want to go out due to the winter storms, heavy rain and strong winds wet clothing's means more laundry haha. But ya the weather here is horrible for the past week. The news report said the wind gust was the same as a cat 1 cyclone, I think I would be blown away. But hey the storm is clearing tomorrow, and I'm planning to go to the zoo on Thursday. I need to relax.

Anyway today at Applecross Vet I saw the most disgusting thing in my life so far. A dog came in with constipation and it couldn't pee, so we took a X-ray of it and found chicken bones stuck up its large intestine and bum. So we flushed it out with water, how?? Take a long big rubber hose and shove it up the bum, than pour the water down the funnel into the hose. And out burst crap, undigested food, brownish water and the chicken bones. It smelled so bad and it looked really horrible. Never Every Feed Your Dog Bones!!!

Well have been looking at the JYM Mission trip pictures, and it looked really fun, wish I could have gone. And now Claudia is going to Thailand for mission trip again, take care sis, and I can't go back to Singapore :( but its no point, my holidays is 2 weeks and I will have to be quarantine for 1 week if I go back.
I feel like going on a road trip or go somewhere peaceful with my camera.

Hello everyone, its freezing cold here. Every morning you can see your own breath in the air, and the sky will be all misty. The top of the lakes will be foggy and the cars will have a thin layer of icy dew. I love winter, but at the same time I hate winter. Confused? Well I hate the cold down pours which makes your shoes wet, but I love the coldness in the air. And winter is a good time for bush walking.

Last Sunday we went to John Forrest National Park, an hour from Perth. I remember I went to John Forrest last year, it was my first bush walking in Aus, but it was during summer under the 40 degree heat. But now in winter, it was 15 degrees or so, cooler.
Loved the mining tunnel and the company, but the water was dried up again like last year :( its never running when I go. But we saw a great sunset, sky turning from bright red to purple. And we saw the great rise of a full moon. And sunsets early now, at 5.40pm the sky is dark and cold.
( btw I like my silhouette picture, I look cool. haha. And mum don't worry I wasn't falling off a cliff)

Well now for 3 Fridays, I will be doing a equine (horse) lecture which is really interesting. We will be learning how to pick a leg up, walking a horse, putting on all the gears for the horse and sickness of a horse. Too bad we won't learn how to ride a horse. The horse I got was Scotty, and his not too co-operative. I tried to pick his feet up, but he won't let me; and his huge and heavy, but I got to brush the horse. I was so afraid that he will kick me and send me flying back to Singapore, haha, but he didn't. Handsome horse.

Anyway won't be coming back to Singapore in July :( and the mission trip is coming up in 2 days time. May God Bless them and keep them safe and I pray that they will be able to touch many hearts, including the JYMers them self.

Hey all, got my voice back :)
Well its the first week of WINTER and its quite cold and rainy. On Tuesday Applecross Vet offered me a job there as a nurse after I finish my vet nursing course, but I turned the offer down; cos I have to come back to do NS :( And its my last few weeks of work experience at Applecross Vet, next will be Murdoch Vet; that will be exciting. But I really like Applecross, its so lively and so many different types of animal. Like on Tuesday I helped with a C-section on a Beagle, 2 female puppies, covered with placenta and blood. So the vet will chuck the new born on my hands and I have to rub it hard and than cut the umbilical cord. Its really cool, and I think I've seen over 10 C-sections while I was in Applecross. But the Beagles were cute, I want one :(

Anyway, didn't really do much this week. I went to a talk yesterday from a OMF speaker on Indonesia, the talk was really good; learnt new things I never knew.
Passed my Radiography test :) had to name the different parts of the x-ray machine. And I took on a elective subject on equine (horses) on Fridays, that will be interesting too.
I was talking to one of my Vet lecturers today on Vet Nursing, and she mentioned about Diploma, and that got me thinking if I should taking Vet Nursing Diploma; I might take that up, its 2 years course. But who knows what I'll do after NS.

Hey everyone, I've lost my voice :( Have been coughing for the past week and today for no reason after church my voice just went funny and now its like half gone. Mum don't have to worry, I can handle my health well :) And today was GDOP, and I went to 3 churches in one day. SPCC to Zion to Winthrop Baptise, from morning till night. And today in SPCC the pastor talked about Compassion, it was good and he showed us a song by Brandon Heath - Give me your eyes. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OihvG607W-c). He shared about "The compassionate heart of God calls us on to bring hope to the heartache of this world." How we walk on the streets and see baggers, or people who are just having a bad day. "We are the hope of the world."

Well on Friday was the last night of OCF for the semester :( so now I'm going to be free on Friday nights. And tomorrow is a public Holiday, foundation day??? don't know what it is for. But I'm working, so I'll get bonus :) Yesterday I was working too, and I always reach work half an hour earlier, but for some reason I was really tired yesterday so I accidentally feel asleep outside the shop in the cold. Wonder if anyone saw me.

Anyway winter break is coming up soon, don't know what I'll do. But I'm thinking of travelling to the eastern states, like Melbourne or Sydney, if mum and dad allows, or even go up north or down south. Everyone is going back to their own country and I'll be here alone... LONER... is that how its spelt??? Help me think of what I can do during winter.

I passed my Practical Driving Test :)

God has really seen me through my driving since last year.
My driving learners permit is expiring on the 25 May 09 (today), and the licensing centre was fully booked for the test; and I need to pass my test before the 25th May. I kept prayer to God for a slot or a cancellation in booking, and guess what, some one did cancel on the 25th May. He really makes a way. And I was so scared during the test, don't want to fail Again and have to wait 6 months before I can take the next. And Thanks Be to God, I passed :) now I'm on my "L" plate wooo...

Now I just need to log in 25 hours of driving and do mini Hazard theory test before I can get the full licence. Hope I can convert the licence in Singapore haha.

Hey all. Well the weather here has been pretty bad the past 2 days, with 125kmh wind gust and heavy rain, and its the First Storm of the year. WINTER IS NEAR.
Was in the school library doing some assignment when you can hear the wind howling outside, next thing I know plastic bags were flying, leafs and tree brunches was falling, people screaming and running into the library soaking wet and doors slamming. When it died down a little I walking back to class from the library and it was freezing cold. Junk all over the floor and 2 trees outside the Animal Studies block fell. And this happened for 2 days so far, and I have been carrying my umbrella and wind breaker with me, and they are so bulky.
And its nothing like a hot Nescafe chocolate during the cold, long, boring lectures. And that's how bored I was, taking pictures during class haha.

Daddy God really gave you and your friends good weather to play golf, the day after you went back it started to storm. Even the iconic pylon at Cottesloe Beach snapped in the sea from the waves. Trees are tilted or fallen and car accidents everywhere, and 4900 homes in Perth lost power. Maybe that's why the lights were flickering during lecture.

Today was not as bad as the last 2 days, just the wee mornings you could hear the storm leashing through Como. Managed to go for work nice and dry :) but cold. Stood outside Pet Magic half an hour earlier before it even opened, freezing, I was hiding behind a pillar to block the wind haha. Well it was a good day back at work after my leave last Saturday cos dad came down, manage to sell 6 puppies :) but it was a mess at the back. My workmate didn't appear in the morning for work, and I had to clean all 10 cages before 10am; I just couldn't, so I told me manager to get me some help. And it was so tiring and dirty, poo's everywhere. Don't think the boss is happy with my workmate, its the second time she did it.

And everyone PLEASE PRAY for my DRIVING PRACTICAL TEST on the 25 May. I wanna pass, can't believe I failed the first time.

Hey everybody!! Guess what after church today Lemuel (photo buddy) and I went to Matilda Bay at the Swan River to take pictures of the Famous Boat shed, its a good location to take pictures. But that isn't the best part, the best part was walking back to the car. We saw a old couple cycling on the grass not on the cycling track, and we were wondering why. When they cycled pass us, the guy said there are dolphins coming!! Cool ay.
2 dolphins, mother and calf swimming 1 meter away from us. If only I can jump in with them. But the time was amazing, running along side the dolphins with our cameras; it was good exercise. And I got really good pictures of the dolphins, I have never taken such good pictures of dolphins before. Really happy :)

And daddy is here in Perth, playing golf with his friends haha. Followed him to the golf course yesterday, and I drove the golf car. It was so much fun, like some kind of safari. But I don't think I'll be joining him for golf any more :( Spent the first and second day with him, but the rest of the day he will be at the golf course; so I'll see him for dinner only.

Hey everyone, well FINALLY 18 years old. Hahaha, freedom!!
Well thanks everyone who messaged me :) Didn't do anything during my birthday but work work and work at pet magic, and it was a tiring day. And lack of sleep gave me headache haha. But its all good now.
Went onto Skype and talked to my family. We celebrated Sam's and my birthday and mothers day, so the cake was a 3 in one. Didn't get to eat the cake, but we took family pictures which was kind of weird having my face as the backdrop.

Well I watched Marley and me yesterday, and I started to tear at the ending. The show was like an re enactment of Murphy and our family. It was so sad. It makes me miss Murphy a lot; Claudia you will love the show. And Marley was so cute, wonder how they trained the dogs for the show. LOVED that show.

A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if your rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he'll give you his

Hello all, well on Saturday for some reason I was quite happy at work, just so cheerful. Smiling the whole day, talking to customers; even horrible customers I was still cheerful. And now we have 2 huge huge puppies, Staffy X Mastiff (first picture), they are just so cute, makes your day even brighter.

Well finally got a chance to talk to Clement online after so long. And I tell you he has really grown so much in the Lord. Talking to him on msn, I could tell he was a man after God's heart. Continue to grow Clement, not in height but in God.
Guess what, daddy is coming down on the 15 May, to play golf haha. Can't wait, so excited, get to go out with him and the best part is I have no classes on those days. Took leave from work too. Miss my family, today I got my Birthday Present from my parents and Claudia, CLOTHINGS :) Yuppii. Thank You.

Hey people, well school is starting this week and I can't wait. Holidays have been pretty boring, and I didn't do much.
Today was the first time I finished reading a whole book by myself, and I'm happy. Usually when I read a book, I tend to drift away from it. So I'll end up reading half the book haha. But this time was different, I decided the read the book every time I'm on the train to work. And I've learnt lots from the book (Every Life a Plan of God) by J. Oswald Sanders.

Anyway today I worked and its a public holiday, ANZAC Monday. So I got a bonus hehe. But today at work I got attack by this stupid cat. One moment it was calm and nice, but when I was about to put it in the box it went MAD. My friend tried too but she too got attack, nuts cat. And now I have 10 scratches on my hands alone and slash marks on my arm (like bruce lees) haha, and claw marks on my back. They sting when I took a shower :( Anyway I'm glad someone bought the cat, wonder what will happen to the new owners haha. I might get an infection or some zoonotic disease from that cat.
Talking about zoonotic diseases, what is up with swine flu. I kept hearing the topic on the radio, is it like SARS?? I know SARS was traced to civets. And I now there are dog flu and cat flu too, but don't know if they affect humans
I saw a cat having a flu the other day and its pretty funny, the cat will sneeze, and when it does its so cute. haha.

Well I have been thinking about what course I want to do in Uni in the the future, and I don't think I'll do Vet science. They pushed the course to 6 years, its so maddly long. And I was talking to some students doing vet, they didn't look happy, but sian and tired. It sounds fun but I don't really want to be a vet. Than I talked to another person studying Conservation and Wildlife Bio, and it sounds not bad; but I will also be studying rocks and soil too haha. All I need now is someone from Animal Science. Anybody doing Animal Science out there?? I'm still thinking about nursing tho.

Hey all the weather here suddenly dropped to 6 degrees last night, and the past 2 days has been cold even in the day. But I like to sleep in the cold, so I opened my window and tuck myself under the blanket; so warm and nice. But I'm not too sure the cold is good for my fishes haha, their from the tropics. And I finally went to Hourbor Town for shopping, bought a Tee at Esprit and a shirt from Rogeer David, hehe; both for less than $50.

Well today morning I was really angry with my Ipod, it died all of a sudden while charging, plus my computer hanged. And the Ipod said it was corrupted. And I can't survive with out my Ipod here, Perth is too boring. But I didn't border to get more angry, so I read the bible, and kept praying that it will work haha; and I felt less angry. Than I went for lunch and did a little window shopping with my friends, went back and the Ipod could work. Whooo. God answered my prayer. Thank You God :)

Today I went to Carousel with some of the OCFers and watched Paul Blart Mall Cop, its funny but won't say it was that good; go watch the trailers. We were suppose to watch Monsters Vs Aliens but it was in 3D and the ticket costed a bomb, $19, maddness. And we didn't know the popcorn here was only salty, and we accidentally bought LARGE; and it was really large. But we manage to finish the popcorn between 5 of us. And today I took all my piggy-bank coins to change it to notes, and I have saved quite alot of money; $230 worth of coins.

Well this is my last week of holidays, yaya. Can't wait to go back to school, its really boring. Met up with Miss Tan (my FMSS PE & english teacher), she suggested that I should tour around Perth. O well need the money first.

Ok first week of holidays is over, still have another 1 and a half more weeks. I really hope it goes by fast cos its boring. So far the few fun things I have done was working and shopping with Esther Siong and Min, and I bought a haversack and pants. And Easter fun too, all the hot cross buns, food :) Thank You Jesus for dying for us. And the next fun adventure I had was a stroll around Mosman Park area (rich man's area), and Freo Buskers festival followed by dinner, swimming and watching So You Think You Can Dance Aussie at Toon's. Although the weather has been hot the past few days I still had fun, and it just rained yesterday and today so it will be cold soon.

Got a bonus on Monday from Pet Magic, cos I was working on a public holiday :) But on Saturday it was quite horrible working with my colleague. She does her work pretty slow, when I've cleaned 3 animal cages she will finish her first. And she tends to play with the animals than work. And Ihave to supervisor, but she doesn't really listen. I have to remember slow to anger.

Anyway I've just started facebook, finally knew how it works. haha.
Just looking through other people pictures really makes me miss home. I miss the food, my bed, the zoo, family and friends. If only I could have come back during this 3 weeks break.

Today is the start of my 3 weeks holidays :) if only I could fly back to Singapore :( I guess it will be a boring 3 weeks break. Maybe I'll go to the gym more, work more and eat, sleep more. Feel like travelling to Rottnest Island with a bunch of friends, but I need the cash first.

And today was a busy day at the vet, going through 18 surgery's make your legs really tired. Had a shy Beagle in today, but it was scared of me. And some Collie X went mad while recovering from anaesthetic, trashing around on the floor; and when I jumped in to grab the dog, her cone around the head cut me leg. But the dog was pretty funny. When you look at dogs recovering from anaesthetic it looks like they are drunk, walking crooked and fulling down after a few steps.

Yesterday at Applecross Vet, we had 3 Golden Retriever which came in for a hip x-ray. And they were placed under sedation, for some reason when animals under anaesthetic or sedation they tend to poo or pee. So another nurse and I had to carry one of the Golden Retriever to the x-ray table, and I had to carry the bum of the dog :( so guess what, it started to poo on my scrub top. I felt so disgusted later, didn't have appetite to eat my lunch. I kept spraying my scrub top with chlorhex to disinfect it but I still stink the whole day.
Anyway I finished the vet 1 hour earlier, so I bought myself pasta and sat by the river. And while eating and listening to music Dolphins appeared, but for a short while.

And today I had no classes on, but the teacher didn't tell me that. So I went all the way down to school for no use. So I decided to take my camera and have a walk by the river, I tried to reach the river at 3pm cos that was the time I saw the dolphins. And guess what, the dolphins showed up again, so I'm guessing dolphins can tell time haha. If anybody wants to see wild dolphins go to Canning Bridge at 2.30 to 4.30pm, they tend to show up.

Btw mummy I passed all my 3 test, Rx works, Anaesthetic and Surgical Nursing.
Thank You God :) I didn't really study for anaesthetic, but I passed.

Well I was reading Kai Xin's blog yesterday on how she gets suspicious of every guy stranger around her. And I think I too feel suspicious of some strangers too. Sometimes the guy will look all angry and scary, but they are friendly and say hi. And I guess all this suspicion that you have is after hearing all the scary stories of people getting rob and kill. People keep telling me that the aboriginals are not friendly and are rough, but I have met quite a few nice ones. Their actions that they show are rude, like shouting across the streets to talk to a friend. But some how I feel that they are a nice community. But I do try to stay away from thoes who carries a bottle of beer or 2 haha. And Kai Xin made a good point, how would Jesus act to a stranger.
So Kai Xin don't worry I feel suspicious of strangers here, just keep safe :)

Did everybody turn off their lights at 8.30pm yesterday??? It was Earth Hour, one of the best campaign to help climate change. Well daylight savings is over so now its the same time zone as Singapore; so you might see me online more often.

And today I was just looking at my mums side cousin wedding picture, and pictures of my family outing to Malacca. It is when your looking at them, you kind of miss home more. Missing out all the fun. But hey 9 more months.
And I was think about what I wanted to do while waiting for army next year; and I want to go backpacking to different countries, go for a photographic course, go for mission trip, and sponsor a child. I don't think I can sponsor a child now, I think I myself need sponsorship haha. I'm only working 1 day a week and the pay isn't enough for paying my driving lesson and tests. And I need to drive soon.

Hey all this week was rather boring, not sure why. But I had 2 test yesterday, Surgical Nursing and Anaesthesia tests. I don't think I did that well for the Anaesthesia test, there was loads of trick questions. And today I had RX Works test (vet software) it was ok for that. Today we had surgery prac, but our patient didn't turn up, so were just sitting, cleaning and making random packs. Pretty boring. Although I did give a Labrador a Hydro-bath haha.

O and guess what, there is like a mass Pilot Whales stranding, 87 in total. Down south of Perth, and I think all the whales died :( how sad. Ok that's just a random info. Don't really have much to talk about actually.

Hey everyone, I had no internet for a week, and now its back :) This days technology is so important. Yesterday I had to mail a letter to the Veterinary Surgeons Board, and I was totally lost on how to mail a letter. I had to ask the guy at the post office what I needed to mail the letter haha. That is what happens if you use technology often, mailing letter was like the stone age for me.

I finally stopped Mosman Park vet in Monday, I just told them it was too far to travel; they just said ok. So now I have surgery's on Tuesdays @ applecross and Fridays @ school.
And on Tuesday after Applecross Vet, I was just so tired and grumpy; and that night I slept at 9.30pm, earlier than the kids. And I realised why, cos in the afternoon at Applecross a vet spilled anaesthetic. And anaesthetic vapour was all around the surgery room, so it made me tired and grumpy.
And guess what, today in school during surgery, the vet spilled anaesthetic haha. I was just reading through the signs of anaesthetic exposure and this is what they said; fatigue, sleepiness, headaches, irritability and nausea. And today was pretty full on, a cat spey and the school dog which had a chunk of skin missing from his belly. So 2 surgery in a row, and I had another class at 1.30pm. So didn't have lunch.

And now I'm hungry, and have nothing to eat but chips and chocolate cake. haha and I just went to the gym yesterday :( its going down the drain.

I can't wait for the Sep/Oct holidays to come, Mummy, Daddy Mama and Gu Jie is coming down. And we're going for a road trip down south :) And it will be Spring and whale watching season.

Well that's about it, Claudia come down to Perth so we can shop together. If not we can go Melbourne and shop with Kax and Siyu. haha.

Hey Hey guys today was one of my most exciting school day. Today was my class Surgical day, ok well every Friday is surgical day. In my school there is a Vet hospital so its run by the students, and it was my class turn do do surgery. So everyone in the class will have a task to do, and the teacher will be the Vet Surgeon.

So at first I was doing reception duties and surgical gopher. But the Surgeon Assistant had a cut on her hand so she couldn't do a scrub up, and I had to change shift with her. So while they were clipping up the animal (cat spey) I had a meeting with the Vet surgeon, just going through what will happen and blar blar blar. Than I had to scrub up, scrub my hands for 5 mins; each hand 2 1/2 mins haha. Than gown up, wear a mask, shoe cover and hair mat. So after all the scrubbing is done I was the "no touch person" nobody was allowed to touch me hips up, and I can't touch anything which was not sterile. And off we go, the surgery starts.
It was like Grey's Anatomy, I had to stand by the instrument tray and pass the instruments over. So the Vet surgeon would say to me "Scalpel please" and I would find the scalpel and pass it over to her, and I got to cut the uterine horns for her. Cool.
Well it was all going well but the scrub pants that I was wearing was like Aussie size and it was loose, and I took a small pants. So it kept falling down, and half way through the surgery it was really going to drop, so I turned around to one of my friend and ask if they could pull it up for me. And she didn't know what to do, all the nurses didn't know what to do. And we all started to laugh, BTW I'm the only boy in class again. Thank goodness another vet came in and pulled it up for me. Stupid pants so loose.

Well ya exciting ya. The spey went well, the cat is all happy and health and the Vet Surgeon said I did a good job. So we are all happy.

Hey Hey people, guess what I went to the zoo on Sunday after church, hehe. It was so peaceful walking around animals, but it was so hot. One thing I hate about Perth zoo tho is that they use lots of viewing windows, and they don't really clean it, so its all dirty and hard to see. And people vandalise on the window. So I didn't really take pictures of animals which had windows for viewing. They should use moat style exhibits for better viewing and it adds to the more natural look. Anyway I was still fun, I might go back for a visit soon, the new Tasmanian Devil is opening soon. And the Tasmanian Devil is my Top 10 animal list. Haha.

Well it has been really hot the past 3 days, 35 and above, where is autumn?? My fish tank has been over heating and 1 of my tetra had died :(
And guess what I bought myself a stethoscope for school, and I don't know but I think its really cool. I keep listening to my heart beat every now and than when I'm bored, than I listen to my watch, and thought the walls hahaha. But it hurts my ear haha. And I think this Friday will be exciting in school, it will be my groups turn to do surgery for the first time. Means scrubbing up, wearing the mask, scrub top, shoe covers, hair mats and gloves, I'm going to look stupid. And I will have to wash my hands for 5 mins and when I walk my hands can't go below my waist. Going to be fun :)

Hey everyone I feel like watching TV now. Its so hard for me to watch TV here, its because the kids will be watching or they are playing their violin or studying. Hopefully I can watch my Private Practice tomorrow night, I like that show, like a mini Grey's Anatomy.

Well today lectures was really boring, I was trying not to fall asleep. The only fun part was when we were dissecting a horse leg, that was pretty fun but super smelly. And I don't think I can go to the park on Fridays to read my book, I have a new class in the afternoon now :( So now I don't really have any free time. I still need to go grocery shopping and I want to go to Perth Zoo to see the new born Red Pandas. And because I have not been grocery shopping, my breakfast has only been weet-bix with out soy milk; and all Aussies know you can't eat weet-bix with out any form of milk. It is just dry and gets stuck all over your teeth. And I also need to find time for my driving lesson.

Cool ay and I positioned it in a way that I can see it when I'm lying on my bed, studying on my desk or just walking pass the door. But now my water is all yellow because of the wood. haha. And I also have 1 Dwarf Flame Gourami, but I don't really want it now. Its creeping me out, it keeps staring at me and when I put my hand in, it becomes mad, so I'm thinking of giving it to my friend. haha. And hey I've been naughty putting 14 fishes in the 25liter tank haha.

Hello everyone yesterday was the last day of Summer!!! Here comes Autumn people, the season of change. Well I have been having lots of thoughts on my future and what I want to do, and right now I'm quite lost. I'm thinking of studying Conservation and Wildlife Biology in Murdoch University or Wildlife Management at UWA. And heres the thing, I also want to do mission work so I'm thinking of doing human nursing too; like a 1 year course type. (nursing is cool rite Claud) I like animals, but I like to help humans too. I wan to feed the hungry and home the homeless. But I think I'll study all my animal courses first before I do nursing, I'll put that last. God please show me the way.

Well on Friday it was really relaxing for me. Only had school for 4 hours, went to cut my hair and went home. When I reached home I took my camera and some food, walked down to the park and sat on the bench and started to read a book that my friend lend me. Every Life a Plan Of God by J. Oswald Sanders. When I was reading the book there was this cute duck which came up to me and sat there by my slippers, and it was looking at me waiting for food. Hahaha and I started to talk to the duck, I told the duck "I'll give you food after I finish reading my book so just stay here." Don't think it understood me, cos it was bitting my slipper and went back into the pond. I covered 6 pages in half, than I went for a walk. Peaceful. I think I'll go down to the park every Friday to read from now on.

Hi everyone, well its only Wednesday and I'm already tired. I have been waking up really early in the morning to go to work, on Sat woke up at 5.50am (Pet Magic), on Mon at 5.40am (Mosman Park Vet) and on Tues 6.30am (Applecross Vet). Its so tiring, on Monday when I came home I just konk out and slept.

For the last 2 days I have been thinking if I should continue work experience at Mosman Park Vet, its not really working out for me. Its far, have to wake up really early, they are not letting me do anything except laundry, which means I can't finish my log book. So its like a waste of my time. And if I were to stop I think I'll work at Pet Magic, than I'll have to wake up at 7am which is not as bad. I'll just see how things go.

Anyway on Tuesday at Applecross, it was really interesting but also quite sad. There was this Shih Tzu which had a condition called Pop-eye where the eye comes out of the socket; its quite common in this breed. So the only way was to remove the eye, it was really disgusting; blood spraying out like a fountain. But it was an interesting surgery for me to see, but I don't think it was that interesting for the Shih Tzu. haha. Now the sad part. In Perth Grey Hound racing is a big thing, but when the dogs are old they get euthanized, so we had 2 Grey Hounds coming in all happy wagging their tails. And I had to help hold both the dogs down while the needle went in, I placed my hand on its chest and I could feel the heart beat going faster than fade and stop; and the eyes dilate. It gave me a picture of how Murphy must have left, we were not in the room when he left cos we kept crying. haha. And I didn't know that Grey Hounds blood was universal, you can use it on any breed of dogs.

It finally rained today, and it was cold. I think Autumn is coming, some of the leaves are turning yellow outside my house. Happy that winter is coming, winter means I can wear some of my nice clothings haha. And for the pass month I have been eating healthy, soy milk with weet-bix for breakfast, a banana everyday and no fried food. But after eating all this plan and not so much taste food, it makes you crave for fatty food like chocolates, chips and Mac. hahaha. And I was reading my sis blog and how she ate Din Tai Fung twice, how lucky. When I came back I wanted to eat that but for some reason mum didn't bring me :(
O Claudia take a picture of your face, is it all swollen and bloody?? I wanna see. The dentist said I have to take mine out in December, and if I don't I'll have permanent numbness on around my mouth, or something like that.

Ok I think I better study for my anesthetic test tomorrow haha. Don''t worry mum I have been studying for 2 weeks already.

Hey all, well I'm working again in Pet Magic but this time once a week, at least I'm getting paid. Nothing much has been happening this week, nothing interesting or exciting, just hot; on Saturday was 39 degree. But today was much cooler.

Today service in church was pretty cool, the speaker is a missionary. And his sermon was in songs, yup he sang songs, he was like a cowboy. The cowboy voice, hat, guitar and harmonica. After church went for lunch and than I went home. But I was bored so I went to Canning Bridge to take pictures, I walked like 2km up and down the river. No dolphins but birds.

Well I have nothing much to talk about today.

Hey people, guess what, today was like my most exciting day. I started today at 12am in the whee hours of the morning, ya early. Went to watch an outdoor movie, Twilight, with my cousin and her friend. Just sitting under the stars watching Twilight was really cool, and not forgetting being surrounded by hundreds of people. Everyone brought like blankets, bean bags, pillows and came in their PJ's to watch Twilight. Its like the Aussie life cool ay. And right now its summer, but in the night it was freezing cold, and it started to drizzle. The worse part was, I needed to go to the washroom haha. But the show was great, the story line was quite good; I'll give it 4 stars.
By the time I reached home it was like 3am and I was so tired, brushed my teeth and just dumped myself on the bed.
Later I woke up at 10.30am and went to Fremantle to get some stuff, and I brought my camera for to take pictures of the place; and it was a good thing that I brought my camera.
Was walking to this light house at Freo when I spotted Dolphins whoo and I had my camera with me. I always see dolphins around but didn't have my camera, so today was the first. I climbed up the rocks and just sat there taking pictures of the pod of 4 + a baby. I just sat there for around 45mins, they just stayed in one spot of the bay playing. It was so peaceful, and not many people knew the dolphins where there until I told them. At one point one of the dolphin swam really close to the rocky shore and I was so amazed at the size of it. It was such a waste that I didn't bring my other lens that can zoom in really far. O well, at least I finally took pictures of Dolphins.
So yes that was my exciting day today. haha.

Hey hey people, well I did work experience yesterday at Mosman Park Vet Hospital and today at Applecross Vet Hospital. And well I really like Applecross vet than Mosman Park vet. Why?? Because I just stood at Mosman Park vet and did nothing, it was so boring. But today was a blast at Applecross vet first thing in the morning.

Applecross Vet Hospital opened at 8am, and I reached there 1/2 hour earlier got a coffee and apple pie from Mac, stood outside the vet and waited for opening time. But once it reached 8am everything was like so cool. First thing I did was saw 2 cat castration and gave 4 jabs to them, and I was standing there just making sure their TPR was all correct when an emergency came in. This big St Bernard came in with a major nose bleed, it kept spilling blood all over the floor, and the owner's legs was covered with blood. The vets managed to stop the bleeding after awhile.
And today itself I saw 2 male cats getting castrated and 3 females getting spayed, 2 dogs getting sterilized and a dental on a beagle. And I have to keep giving all the animals jabs, and I hate it, I'm scared of the needle hahaha.
Now heres the exciting part, I took part with 3 C-sections. It was really disgusting but so fun. The first C-section was on a Chihuahua, and it had 1 pup, the next was also a Chihuahua but it had 4 pups; but they were all premature and 1 died. And the last was on a German Shepard which had 2 big pups. The German Shepard's C-section was really disgusting, the vet cut opened into the uterus and pulled 2 sacks; and when she cut the sack open, fluids started to pour all over the floor like some waterfall. And it stinks.
So what I had to do was, catch the pups from the vet after she takes it out, get a towel and break open the sack; when you break the sack liquid starts spilling out and its horrible (blood mix with crap mix with some green stuff) and I wasn't wearing gloves. Slimy! After the sack is open rub the pups really hard and than cut the umbilical cord.
All this reminds me of like the show ER, Grey's Anatomy and Emergency Vets; TV only gives you sight and sound but not touch and smell, opening up animals really stink.
The saddest part was when a old dog got put down and I had to carry the body into a freezer. The owners were tearing and kept talking to the dog before it was put down, it kind of reminded me of the day Murphy was put down. Well you got to do what you got to do. So ya that was what I did at Applecross Vet Hospital. And at Mosman Park Vet, I just stood there and looked at the vet do 2 cat castration, and that was it, I even went home 5 hours earlier haha.

Anyway, we need to pray for people in Victoria (the state of Melbourne) the fire storm is really bad, today the total death toll is 181. And most body's were all burned up till you won't know who they are. 1 town has been wiped of the map now, and there is a bush fire raging 90km of Melbourne. And dad remember we went to Healsvill Sanctuary in Vic, well it might be getting burned. And here you go dad, my fish tank, looking cool ay. And my new shoes, hopefully I won't get blood on it like today. I won't be buying fish so soon, cos my water has high levels of Nitrite and my water temperature keeps going up to 31 degrees, which can kill fishes. Got to fix that problem before I can buy fishes. Thats about it.

Hey hey all for the pass 2 days the weather has been pretty weird, its summer now but the weather feels like spring; 24 degrees today. Well they reported that next week will reach 38 degrees, but sometimes I don't believe the weather man. haha.
Anyway today I went shopping :) I know its sounds weird that a guy is shopping, but hey I like to shop, got that genes from my mum haha, and I bet Claudia got that genes from her too. Went to Westfield Carousel and bought myself a navy blue shorts and a pair of white shoes which I really think its cool. Heres the thing, I shop for a reason. In school when I have to do clinic and surgery practical which is 2 days a week, I have to wear my scrub top, navy blue shorts and white shoes. But I'm really proud of my white shoes haha.

Ok well it seems that this year the units I'm studying are really hard. I have to remember so many things, from surgical tools to the methods we need to fold towels. But heres the good thing, remember last year when I had to do anatomy and physiology, well I passed that unit last year; so I won't have to go for that lecture no more. But I still go for the lecture tho, it helps me refresh my memory, and hey I won't have to take the anatomy test no more.
Still I find this course more interesting than last years. By March when the schools vet clinic is open I'll get to do surgery on animals, live animals. The teacher says there is no room for major errors, as the animal belongs to a paying client. So the animal comes in live must go out alive as well, unless its a euthanasias. Scary.
This course also requires me to work in a vet practice. So on Tuesday I called up all the vet in Perth asking if they want to have me as work experience. Kept calling but no one seems to want me :( but finally haha, Mosman Park Vet Hospital, which is 1 hour away from my house and is next to the beach, accepted me. And on Wednesday Applecross Vet Hospital , which is 15mins from my house, called me and told me that I was accepted. Whooo, now I'm doing work experience at 2 vets haha. And I went back to Pet Magic today and they were all happy that I'm back, and so now I might work there on Saturdays. This means I am all booked up, and my only free day is Sunday. This is going to be a long year.

Ya and I'm setting up my fish tank again hahaha. No more marine fish, this year will be tropical freshwater. Bought all my live plants from Pet Magic today and a 6kg bag of small pebbles. So heres what happened after I bought the plants and pebbles. I placed the 6kg bag of small pebbles in my crumpler bag and carried 5 live plants in a plastic bag, not forgetting my new shoe in the other hand. Walking to the bus stop was just so tiring, the 6kg pebbles gave my shoulder pain after 10mins; and now I think my left shoulder is lower than my right haha. And the bag of plants started to leak water haha, and all this happened within 1 hour. But hey manage to get home in 1 piece, and my tank is looking really cool now. No fish yet.

Well ya thats what I have been up too lately.

Today was my first day of school, well actually it started on the 30th of Jan, so I was kind of late haha. And today was hot real hot, around 38 degrees.
Well I did even know when school even started so I just went down to school at 9am to see whats going on, to make things worse I was not enrolled to the class yet, so I had to fill up loads of forms; but ya I'm in a class now.
Like always I'm the only boy, and this year I have to do clinic practical and it sounds really fun. My clinic group has 6 people including me, and on every second week Monday we have to run the schools vet clinic. We all have to take turns to be head nurse, and the head nurse has to plan all the appointments and make the call, sounds really tiring.
Well my school hours are much longer than last years, Mondays clinic prac every fortnight, Tuesdays for work experience, Wednesdays is the longest 830am to 530pm, Thursdays and Fridays are half a day. So ya no more play play..
Went to buy my text book and uniform today after class and it cost a bomb not to mention it is really big and heavy, can't believe the price, but the book looks interesting. So ya I carried the book in my new crumpler bag that Claudia bought for me, the book was so heavy that my right shoulder was aching after walking from the school gate to the bus stop. hahaha, don't worry Claudia I'll still use the bag.

Ok here are some pictures of birds around Pine Grove, I took them a week before I went back to Australia. I took up bird watching during that week hahaha. So I went to Kinokuniya with my mum and bought a Birds of Malaysia and Singapore guide, haha. So I'm going to teach you some birds now that you might commonly see in Singapore.
First from the top - Little Egret, Second - Cattle Egret, Third - Common Flameback Woodpecker, Forth - Umbrella Cockatoo (non native), Fifth - Collared Kingfisher, Sixth - Black-naped Oriole. Don't you feel educated now, hahaha.

Ok and here are some random pictures I took at the jogging track next to Pine Grove. First picture - Squirrel silhouette. The Second is a Great Dane jogging with its owner, btw great danes are the larges dog breed.

Back In Perth

Hello everyone!!! Back in Perth now after a 5 hours + plane ride. Glad to see my 3 good friends Ryan Clement and Kester sending me off :) Haha and my grandma is so funny, when she saw Kester she said he was a pretty boy, and she kept smiling at Kester haha, welcome to the family Kes.
Well the plane ride was rather boring, the shows were all horrible. I only watched High School Musical 3 than I slept for like 1 hour and when I woke up I had pins and needles on my legs. After the plane landed I had to go through the custom, I stood there in line looking at the the custom officers and praying to God for a friendly officer. All the Australian custom officer I've met so far were all so rude. Thank God I had a really friendly one, he smiled at me :) I was so happy haha.
The next exciting thing that happen was when I came out of the gate, I had no credit on my phone and my dad gave me the wrong number to my home stay. Haha, I ran around looking for optus pre-paid ; and of course I found it. hehe.

Well now Perth is really hot, 34 degree, and everything feels like and oven; from inside the car to the house. And tell you the truth I have no idea when school starts hahaha. I'll have to call them tomorrow.

Anyway miss everyone in Singapore already, but hey this is my last year :) than army :(

Pulau Ubin

Hey all 6 more days till I head back to Perth, not too keen about it hahaha. But hey this years units are quite interesting, and more hands on.

Well I went to Pulau Ubin on Saturday with Kester and Davin. Left house at 630am but we reached Ubin at 930, early day. We went cycling from smooth roads to bumpy forest path, went to Chek Jawa and walked along the board walk; sadly we went during high tide so we couldn't see any corals. But it was a good bonding time with Kester and Davin although we were all tired.
Ubin life looks quite fun, waking up to a peaceful island life; I wanna have a camp there one day. hehe. The few wildlife we saw was loads of mud skipper, king fisher, crabs, monitor lizards, swifts and dogs haha. Ok here are the pictures of Ubin.

Hey all, well I have 2 more weeks left in Singapore :( don't want to back to Perth so soon. But hey its my last year, I'll be back for good later. Anyway yesterday I cooked for the Pine Grove people, Glenn and Ivan. Meat Ball spaghetti, mushroom soup, garlic bread and apple crumble. Neat food, but the thing is every time I cook, I won't fell like eating it what I cook. haha.

Hey all got some new cool pictures of Singapore Zoo, I recently went to the zoo with Siyu; this is my 4th visit since I'm back haha. Had loads of fun with Siyu, and I bet Siyu had fun too. We pretended that we were tourist from Hong Kong when we were buying tickets, and the sales girl believed us, hahaha. Ya and Siyu misplaced her wallet, that was funny too; but don't worry she found it at the ticketing counter 2 hours later. haha. Took pictures with sea lion kissing our heads, zebras and parrots at the background, and many more. This is only half of the whole lot, will show you more of Singapore Zoo pictures soon.

Hey all, well its 2009. The years are passing by really quickly, and I only have 1 more month till I head back to Australia. And I don't really wanna go back so soon, thats why I'm not looking forward to chinese new year. Anyway the Little Nyonya show has ended. I must say that show was really good, it was one of those chinese shows that I watch; Jeanette Aw had really good acting skills and the story line was good too.

Ok guys, Christmas is 30mins away. Well here are more pictures of Tokyo, this time Disneysea & Mt Fuji. If you want to have more trilling rides than Disneysea will be best for you; more roller coasters and heart pumping rides. Like Indiana Jones and Tower of Terror. And yes the famous Mt Fuji, haha, NO SNOW :( but still it was a really beautiful Mountain. The journey was long and a little boring, the seat was small and rather stuffy. Well I have more pictures of what I did around Mt Fuji, but I'll show it another day.
Anyway today I went out for dinner with my parents and Claudia, well we kept laughing. Talking about stupid stuff like my transition glasses, haha, for the first time mummy jokes were funny haha. Well in 30mins time it will be my dad's Birthday.

Hey all, back from Tokyo. Winter there is really neat, no snow but still cold. I have too many pictures to load on my blog so I'll slowly. Sat the A380, the first class was really big, but of course I took the economical class, haha, and the ride was smooth. The train stations in Tokyo is like a maze and always so crowded. Food there was good but X!!! haha. Ok I'll let the pictures tell the trip.

TOKYO DISNEYLAND

Tokyo Disneyland was really fun, all the rides was fun; but the fire works was not as nice as I thought. Space Mountain is a must sit in Disneylands but if you wan more trilling rides, Tokyo Disneysea will be better.

Singapore Is Home

Well haha, my surprise plan failed, Claudia found out that I was back. Anyway the first week when I was back was really Great, dinner with my family and JYM camp!!!
JYM Camp: (DHL) was really exciting and encouraging. I remember asking God to make a way so that I can come back to Singapore earlier for camp, suppose to be back on the 6th Dec and I would have miss camp; but I came back on the 1st Dec. HAHA. The camp speaker really encouraged me in my mission point of view. When I tell people that I hope I can go for mission work, they would always say that I'll convert the animals; those words really make me think if what I'm studying now is the write course. But the speaker really gave a slap onto those answer, God can use what I'm studying now if I offer it up to Him. The stories he shared on how shopping change the life of a person, or how a 8 year old girl playing can teach the class about Noah's Ark. This stories are really cool and boost me up. And none of this would have been possible if you don't surrender it to God, it all starts with an INDIVIDUAL. Ya Great Job Camp Committee

Ok next, I went to the Singapore Flyer. Followed my cousins and aunty, we were showing our friends from UK the new attraction. It was really cool, but the sky was rather hazy. The best time to go is when the IR is up and the sky is nice and clear. But still had a really good time with my cousin, walking around the F1 race track spending time with him before going for wonderful dinner. I'll show more pictures of my family outings soon. But ya going to Tokyo soon so I won't post so much. BTW all the pictures were taken with my NEW CAMERA. Whoooo. And I still need to go to the Zoo. hehehe.

Well to day the group left for mission trip to Malaysia, God Bless them and keep them safe. Pray that life's will change and be touched by them.

Last Day @ Work

Hey all today was my last day at Pet Magic before I'm back for 2 months, and the day started off really badly HAHA, I woke up 1 HOUR LATE. HAHA. Suppose to wake up at 6am, but I woke up at 725am. Boy O boy did I run to the bus stop haha. Reached work late by 5 mins, Thank You God that I wasn't very late. haha, but when I entered there was lots of commotion; as someone in the fish dept didn't turn off the tap last night and the floor was flooded. And Thank You God that the boss was not around, if not she will be really angry. But ya, I bought all of the staff chocolates. Worked as usual, feed, clean, play, and wash the puppies; but every one was acting so secrative and keep hiding, haha. Some things up.
You can never get stress of this job, the puppies are so cute is like your on Endorphins, haha, always happy. Nearer to the end of work, some of my friends gave me a huge Chocolate Mud Cake. And at the end of work they gave me a teddy bear with all their signatures and works of kindness, and a Aussie coin box. They are really the best. And the 2 girls that I always worked with gave me a photo frame that they made, with doggy pictures all over. O and they gave a hug. Thank You Krystal and Jessica. Everyone in the pet shop is really nice. Jason, well his gay, but his really cool, makes you laugh all the time. And Antony, gives me all my info for my marine tank.
Krystal and Jessica was saying how they will be skinny for Christmas now that I'm gone, haha, I always by them chocolates every time I worked, now that I'm gone, no more chocolates. hehe. Can't believe I worked in Pet Magic for nearly a year. Hopefully 2, next year. I really respect the girls working with me at the animal house, as usual I'm the only boy haha. The girls are so gain to get dirty. The first thing when you open the house door is a full blast of hot puppy poo air. The girls don't mind when poop gets onto their hands or the smell of poop, not bad ay, most girls will start complaining. But Ya brave girls.

And after I finished work, I went to Oyster Bar to have dinner with my cousin and her mother. really high class place, but I was so under dress; my Pet Magic uniform was so dirty. The food was really great, had Salmon. And the mother was here on holiday with some friends and one of her friend was a well know Feng Shui master. He is so so rich, his incharge of doing Feng Shui for the new IR in Singapore, all the bedrooms and the lobby. Well I don't believe in Feng Shui, but his making so much by just telling people where to put a table or a chair. haha, O well.

Today I walked around Carousel and bought some stuff to bring back to Singapore, lots of sweets hehe. And I went in to Pet Paradise to look around, was so disappointing. The birds looked sick and the rabbits were all squashed into a small cage, where is their animal welfare. Haha Pet Magic is the best hahaha. Tomorrow will be my last day at Pet Magic :( going to miss all my friends there, don't forget the pets. Didn't go to work this whole week and I wonder if the Beagles are still there.

This days technology is so advance, I went to the bank today to change a bunch loads of coins. Waited in line for the teller, and put a whole bag of coins onto the table. And she said," O theres a coin changer at the corner." I must have looked really stupid haha, dumping all the coins on the table. HAHA. Ya and the machine was really cool. Put the coins on the belt, and it will fall into a slot. But I was so embarrassed, the machine made lots of noise and everyone kept looking. But ya the machine will count the amount for you and give you a paper to pass to the teller. I never there was such a machine. HAHA. YA in total I had $130 of coins haha.

And Lem Lem, can't believe Jesters Pie is going to close down. WHERE AM I GOING TO EAT PIES NOW!!! I always get my fats from your stall. haha. Now I have no more place to hide from my home stay, haha.

I FAILED my driving Practical Test :( haha. I had a new instructor which took me before I went for the test, and he was a Singaporean; nice guy and he was a Christian, there was a cross with Jesus on it at the dashboard. Ya and I didn't know a lot of the rules, my previous teacher didn't tell me anything about those rules. I don't really like my previous teacher, he was more slack and kept talking on the phone when I was driving.
Well ya I got the an instant fail when I drove into the wrong side of the road at a single lane slow point. And there is a box for the examiner to tick her comments and this was what she ticked. Candidate disobey a regulatory sign or marking, and, Candidate caused a crisis or potential crisis. HAHA well I think it is all part of God's plan. Still Thank You God for giving me the opportunity to drive a car. hehe. I called Claudia later to let her know I failed, and she kept laughing hahaha, don't know why but her laughter made me fell better. Miss You CLAUDIA. Ok well learn from the mistakes.

Tomorrow is my driving Practical Test. I don't want to fail!! My instructor called me and said he had to rush back to Malaysia cos his father died. Thats sad :( and so all my lessons has been canceled today and for tomorrow and I'll get a new teacher. I think his Singaporean.

Ya and I just got a letter from Perth Zoo, hehe. They said I could do work experience next year, but I have to miss 1 weeks of lesson and I can't. And I wanted to do work experience this year not next. So I called the guy in charge and he was so darn rude. It was like he didn't want to speak to me, he put the phone down on me later. errrr. Cool down Marcus!! O well haha I want to continue to work for Pet Magic next year. Haha and I think I have a zoonosis disease, I keep having a bad tummy. I'm guessing its because I didn't wash my hands properly before I ate lunch. Anyway I wan to watch the movie Australia!

Well I was reading StraitsTimes this afternoon and saw this headline "mum flushed newborn in toilet" (http://www.straitstimes.com/Breaking%2BNews/World/Story/STIStory_306552.html) And I was just reading it and felt so sad for that baby. Won't the mum know that she was giving birth, the baby would have cried. The mum thought she had diarrhea. Its sometimes hard to believe if people are telling the truth or lying.

Ok well my fish tank is all dried up and empty, all set for new fishes next year. hehe. And there are only 2 Beagles left in the shop :( and the runt is not doing good. She is really skinny and pooping blood. Hope she gets better. Everyone please pray that I pass my driving test this Thursday. Thank you.

2 Beaches In a Day

13 More Days People. haha, well yesterday, Saturday, I went to Cottesloe Beach with my Jap roommate, Yupii. Just lying down on the sand, trying to get darker haha. It was really fun, people keep saying that its still cold, but its not, in fact it was rather warm. I say Global Warming. The water was nice and clear, the waves where not like huge but was big. Stayed at Cottesloe beach from 10 to 2.30 cause it started to pour. So we left and I went to Ikea and met up with Esther, Bryan, Bernie and Irwin and we set of to Burns Beach up north, haha 2 beach in a day. This time it was a BBQ for the people who are going to graduate, and Willy's house is really nice, walking distance to the beach. Ya and Caleb went high, haha, and O it was so fun, playing ultimate frisbie and some other ball games in the dark. And the sunset was great. I'll just let the pictures talk for them self. Thank You God that it didn't rain during the BBQ.

She was really nice, always smiling and serving, but the manager wasn't that nice to her; she sounds so rude when she talks to that girl. Poor her, feel so sad for her, she's just a student :(

Hey all, you know the BEAGLES, one of them is real sick, it is all skinny and ain't eating at all. Its sleeping over at the vet now on drips :( she is the runt of the group. Hopefully she will get better.

Anyway here are some pictures of Sunday, didn't take a lot of pictures of Church Together; but before Church Together I walked 2km along the river hoping to see dolphins, but ended up at Kangaroo Island. haha. So I took pictures of kangaroos, saw 2 female kangaroos only, but lots of darn flies and no dolphins. Have not really seen a dolphin for quite awhile already. And after Church Together some of us walked along the Bell Tower and took pictures. haha. Fun times.

EVERYONE look at this pictures. HOW can you say NO to such cute BEAGLES!!!! So so so cute and they look like the MURPHY, Murphy is handsome. Today I went to my work place just to take picture and show you guys. It was busy so I quickly too and ran aways, and the boss was around. hehe. But ain't they adorable. Kisses and hugs and lots of love is what I'll give them tomorrow when I go to work.
Anyway I just came back from Church Together, its when all the churches in Perth come together, but tell you all about that another day, wanna sleep. hehe.

BEAGLE MADNESS

Ok First thing First. The pet shop that I'm working in, Pet Magic, has 4 new really cute BEAGLES!! The best part is that they all look just like MURPHY. Same colour (tan/white), patten, looks but all female. But I went crazy when I opened the door and saw them. I ran to the toilet and called dad and told him, haha, I called at 8.35am Aussie time so it will be 7.35am in Singapore time. haha, but it was an importen phone call. The cuteness of the BEAGLE can kill you, I kept kissing and cuddling them and I called all of them MURPHY even tho they were girls. I went crazy than. HAHA. I'll see if I can take pictures of them. But they cost A$895, but I'm staff so maybe say A$500 + DADDY CAN WE BUY?? Please!! They are like mini MURPHY! 1 of them pooped out a worm today, and it was really smelly! But the cuteness makes you forget about the smell. But still MURPHY your number 1 DOG in my life. Your the TOP DOG!

Ok well here are some pictures of my school residents. Charley the Labrador, I know the name is a boys name but its a girl.

And I rate the axolotl (amphibian) the most boring pet in the world, it will just stay at the bottom of the tank and do nothing for a month.

Big News, well for me i guess, a Malaysia worker Mr Montong, died after being attacked by the White Tigers in Singapore Zoo. Was reading all the accounts from witness and it seems like he was either playing a fool or suicide. I don't think it was the tigers fault tho, the guy jumped in and disturbed the tigers; he waved his broom and pail and approached the big cats. The tigers dragged his body into the den area and he suffered a fractured skull and neck wounds than died.

An Australian couple told zoo authorities that they saw Mr Montong shouting and throwing things when he walked past the crocodile exhibit earlier in the day. And Mr Montong was seen acting agitated before jumping in, he also told his colleagues "goodbye." So I do think it was suicidal incident.

Right now I just hope that the tiger exhibit will be open when I come back to Singapore in 23 days time. May God Bless Mr Montong family.

Hey All! 25 more days, so excited!! The Food The Friends The Family The Gerbils!

Well yesterday was really a bad day to work, I woke up really late. Suppose to wake up at 7am to catch the 745 bus, but I woke up at 730am; I panic out off bed brushed my teeth and change and dash put of the house. And in work I had a terrible headache the whole day, and was really tired. (I think its because I watched lion king till 12.20am the night before work) The funny thing was that the boss asked me to follow her on a delivery trip, didn't know why she picked me, but it was really dreadful. Haha! The van we took was really hot and we drove far far away like near the hills. We were delivering some big bird cage and a cat scratcher, it took us 3 hours. The bird cage kept rattling through out the whole journey and the boss was talking on the mobile while driving and the heat was unbearable. And I kind of slept, haha was really tired, I tried to keep myself awake but some how I'll doze off and wake up. But ya she didn't see, hehe. And the best part was that I'm getting paid for sitting in a hot, rattling van :) HAHA! But ya the trip made my headache worse.

Today school was ok I guess. Learned some interesting stuff on poison to animals.

I never new that till today, and I was like " I fed that to Murphy before!" Ya but some of them are dangerous when consumed large amount, SOME, still if your reading this, don't feed your dogs those; don't go through the risk. Ya and teacher told us some stories about dogs eating the wrong food. A Jack Russell ate 2 slices of pizza which had onions, fell really sick and died at the vet. Golden Retriever ate a small box of raisins (you know those kids like to eat that small red box of raisins) well it fell really sick, but manage to survive. So ya think twice!!

1 More Month!! This semester really pass by, and soon it will be Christmas. Than Chinese New Year. I'm COUNTING DOWN each day, so exciting. This year I couldn't stay for chinese New Year, but next year it will be on the 26th Jan so I can. Yaya. And this year I won't be able to go for JYM camp :( Ryan showed me the promo video and it was really funny, hope all the JYMers will have fun!!

I decided to change my blog template, is it nice?? I felt that the 1st one was boring after awhile. O well, the rain has finally stopped; no more wet dreamy day and wet shoes.

29 Days till I'm Back

2 weeks ago it was like 30 degree mix, and this week is like 18 degree max. Stop raining!! Today I forgot to bring my umbrella to school and it was pouring mad, was sitting in the lecture room looking out the window wishing the rain would stop. And the worse part was I had to stand in the cold drizzle waiting for the bus, stood there for 1/2 hour, didn't want to wait so I went to Jesters to see if Lem was there; turned around and walked a few steps and the bus came and I missed it. HAHAHA. I HATE THE BUS SERVICE HERE!

O well I have nothing to do now. Can't wait to go back to Singapore, 1 MORE MONTH! Than Tokyo! Well I'm just going through some pictures I took long long time ago and heres a really neat picture of Kester and a Kangaroo :) I know random.

Red Bull Air Race

Hey all, on Sunday I had fun with my cousin and her friend Noel. What did we do? We watched the Red! Its like F1 race but in the air, haha. The planes were so cool, doing all the stunts. The race was held at the Swan River, and we went there at like 11 to see if we can find a nice shady spot to watch the show, but it was all taken up :( so we sat on the beach under the burning sun. And ya I've got sun burn on my feet and face, and I got 3 tones darker. So did my cousin and Noel. But the show was quite nice, it gets you all pump up. The planes has to fly through some big air-filled cones within the fastest time, the fastest was 1min 16secs if I'm not wrong; Austrian guy won. And the sound of the planes flying close to you is really cool, especially when the F18 flew past; window shaking moments. I'll let the picture and 1 video show you what I saw :)

And after the race I went home and prepared to go for Jacky Birthday Party at some really neat but X restaurant at Subi. I had grilled chicken with salad. Had some really funny moments, but the ISO was too high and the pictures came out looking weird, Lem Lem next time don't put ISO. Anyway it rained today while I was walking home from work. Was sitting on the train like one side of Perth is raining and the other is not. And the rain was moving towards my house, and when I got off the train and tried to run home, but the rain was too fast for me. And I got wet. haha, COLD

This week I really fell like a junky/pig. I went to Coles to buy bread and colgate, but while I was walking around there were so many offers on junk food. hehe so I bought them. 2 big 250g Cadbury chocolate, a pig bag of popcorn and a block of cheese. The only healthy food that I bought was 3 apples which I have not touch yet. And the first night that I bought the chocolate, I ate half of 1 bar and 3 pack of popcorn :( And the next day I went to the gym, haha. And after gym, I went to Jesters to see Lem Lem. I asked Lem if he could make a pie with no ingredients, just the pastry, and he did. Fatty but nice. haha. Its ALL JUNK FOOD!!

Anyway the whales are going to pass by Perth again, giving birth up north, they are going to swim down south now. Good time to see whales, so tempted to go whale watching. And I'm going to shut my fish tank down for 2 months since I'll be back in Singapore. Going to give back my fishes to my pet shop, and when I'm back I'll get like discounted fishes, its like trading. Planning to get Valentini Puffer. They are really cute, but I think I'll just get 1.

I think thats about it. O no wait one more thing, Go Go Timothy and Clement, O Levels is almost up, YOU CAN DO IT.... Timothy look forward to Tokyo together and Clement look forward to me coming back, haha!! Ok

Hey all, haha was just reading Claudia's blog and saw pictures of my new born Gerbils again. haha. Baby Boom! Daddy took some pictures of them, and they look hairless but cute :) If you don't want them to breed, separate them. ha. Ya you can see some of the resembles of the mum and dad on the babies too (talking about fur colour) and 2 of the babies are black, so I wanna see how they will turn out to be like next time. And Claudia, do you realize that Mama always take off her glasses when she takes picture. haha. Remember the time in Melbourne at some chinese restaurant she was making some kind of funny face when taking pictures. Wonder if we still have that, got to show the whole world. haha.

Ok anyway, worked today again. And it was raining like made last night during OCF, after a week of 30 + degree. Today during work was much cooler. Today I reached work 1 hour earlier, because I manage to catch the first train, so I reached work at 730am. And usually I'll sit outside and eat my breakfast, today I made Kaya Toast and butter (tried to make it like Ya Kun), but the boss was early too, and she saw me walking pass the shop :( she was like "hey Marcus, your early, WHY DON'T YOU COME IN" in Aussie terms, come and work. haha. and I ate 2 out of 3 of my Kaya toast, I was saving the most toasted for last and I didn't get to eat it. Anyway, I started work 1 hour earlier and was all alone at the back cleaning up puppy shit. And 3 of them has diarrhea, stinks like mad! And at 8.30am the shop open, and irritating customers start to come. It was so busy. And somewhere during the day the boss got pissed off with the staff for lack of communication. People who worked on Friday said that the puppy had parvo virus, so everyone who worked today thought they had parvo virus, btw there is no cure for parvo, and the stall will have to shut down for a week for quarantine, like sars but doggy verson. But ya, and one of the staff told a customer that they had "parvo" so the boss was like red head. O well, I did nothing wrong haha. And I got paid today. haha, and I forgot to eat my last kaya toast, I left it at my work :( haha.

Today was a really tiring day man. Work work work! We are short on staff today, and I was the only person at the back cleaning out the cages :( but someone came and help me out later :) haha. And today I sold a Blue Heeler, the guy who bought it was really nice, but he didn't want to buy any worming or flea medication, which is important for the puppy. O well. And the past few days in school we have been learning about diets for dogs and dog's behavior, haha, and what we used to feed Murphy last time was totally wrong. haha. And Murphy have been showing submissive behavior to us last time (lying on the back, showing the belly). O cute Murphy. haha.

Anyway Thank God, I had this group project for retail class ( build up a display table for the product you are selling) well, teacher love it a lot. She has this British voice, and she kept saying, "O excellent, very well done.. I'm really impress." haha. I was selling coffee and the theme was Africa. I'll show you the picture one day.

All The Best to Timothy & Clement for your "O" Level

The past few days has been really hot, like 30 degrees. But its the sun that is killing me, if not its ok. Don't really like to stay in my room as it has no ventilation, and its just stuffy and hot. Every night I sleep I'll wake up all sweaty. haha. But its only mid spring. I'll die in summer. And the flies are waking up now and I fell that they are following me, always buzzing around my ears and eyes. errr.

Another thing, today during dinner the homestay's son was walking pass the dinning table while I was eating, and he sneezed. Food flew right in front of my plate, lost my appetite at that point. Was so angry with him, and the mother didn't say a thing. Hygiene Please!!

O and my Gerbils gave birth again, 5 babies. YaYaYa haha, daddy get a new tank if you don't want them to breed anymore. But don't sell them yet. I want to see how they look like in real life, and don't let them breed so much, Margarine will get worn off. Ya Thanks for looking after :)

Hey, well today I want to try something different, I'll put picture and write, like a story book rather than all the pictures at the end.

Well on Sunday after church Christina, Lem, and me went to Doulos to meet Vandana and her sister, Van's sister is a dentist on board the ship. We didn't want to drive so we took the train down to Freo where the ship had dock. But before we went on board the ship, we went to Freo Market for lunch. haha Hotdogs and ??Crape??

Ya and the best thing of all, we got Free Entry, Free Dinner and a Privet Tours, so Cool!! Thank You Van's sister. Ya and Vandana stayed overnight on the ship. haha. Also had the chance to see the dentist, book storage compartment, with tons of books.

And now after listening to all the great things the people are doing on board the ship, I really want to help out too, for 2 months or so. But what can Animals Studies do, no animals on the ship. haha. Well Photographer they might need!! ha

Well what is visiting Doulos is the Worlds Biggest Floating Bookshop, and everyone who visited went to the bookshop, so we did too. Its not big big, but just normal, haha, I used to think like one whole floor of the ship is filled with books, but nope, one section of the floor only, haha.

After the bookshop we went for a free dinner, and the food was not that bad, I kind of like it, even tho it was salami, hot dog and sliced cheese with veg. Can you imagine how do the people eat in a storm, the plate will go left and right.

And after dinner we had a Strawberry Salad Fest, haha, Christina bought 3 big box of strawberry's for A$6. So we went up to the deck of the ship and ate strawberry covered with honey, sweet.

By the time we finished everything it was dark, and we had to catch the train back to Perth. Ya and there was this really big sign board with a Humpback Whale fluke next to the train station so I decided to take a random picture. Haha. Well we caught the train and didn't realized that the train won't stop at the stop we wanted, so we miss our stop by 1, haha, so we walked back to Christina's house, 10mins walk.

Well thats about it. I really hope I can work on Doulos one day, but its going to stop sailing in 2010 :( O well I don't quite like this format of story book they blogging. I'll go back to the old way next time.

Hello. haha first thing first, Claudia, lets just hope its not a Deja-vu. And don't worry, I won't go near crocs. Anyway, miss you a lot Sis, I "bought" something for you, not sure if you will like it.

Ok well this week I'm working 3 days a week, not suppose to but they need my help. And because I took all my free days to work, this whole week is so tiring. Well what to do. And as I was leaving from work today, I talked to the boss for awhile, and as I was walking out of the door I heard he say "his so sweet." Aww. haha in my mind I was going "Y Thank You." haha. Don't think I want to work next Thursday tho, I want to go shopping. I MISS SHOPPING!! I know most guys like to shop, but I'm not those most guys. haha, Went to Carousel on Wednesday, and they are having SALE through out the whole shopping center. And Carousel was so big I had no time to shop, had to go back to school for class.

Claudia's gift, haha, I saw it on Wednesday but no time to buy, so I'll try tomorrow, rush down after school before OCF. Hope I can still remember where the shop is in Carousel. haha.
But I don't really want to shop alone, and all my male friends here don't like to shop :( nvm Ryan we must shop again when I'm back ya. Ok now I'm thinking of going to Harbour Town now, haha. Another thing, I'm going to sing back-up tomorrow for OCF, yaya, and the ship Doulos is coming to Perth, I want to see!!

One week of holiday is almost up :( a back to school. And what have I been doing?? Haha watching movies with Ryoma. Chicken Little, Shrek 2, Transformers and Lion King. But today we decided to go out for Jap food in the city. It's pretty good, I paid $14.50 for a bento set and 2 plates of sushi. And after that we just walked around the city before catching a ferry across to Mill Point for coffee.

Hey hey, haha holidays have just started. And today is the Queen's Birthday, means Public Holiday. BUT I had to Work :( every other shops were close, but mine had to be open. Sian.
And so I went to work at 8.30am but they opened at 10am. Wan to cry ah. haha Thank God the boss was there early. So I started really early. haha and didn't get paid for that 1hr 30mins. Well today in work was like a nightmare, I did the puppy changes all by myself for the first 1 hour, 11 cages in total. And after that they were short on staff at the fish dept. So they called me. NOOO. was so disgusting, putting my hands in water filled with dead fish and stuff like that. yuck. Ok lar not that bad. But errrr I was quite irritated by my colleague. Shes just so irritating, not doing anything and keeps bossing me to do everything. And I was the one who did most of the work today. And today I did 2 sales, finches and guinea pig, and she totally came in and steal my customers from me. I was the one who sold them, errr felt like shouting at her. haha this is my work politics, now I know why my other colleagues get angry when someone steals your customers. Anyway now I'm working on Mondays and Saturdays.

Anyway, I have been watching Disney shows with Ryoma, Lion King and Ratatouille so far. Than It helps improve Ryoma's English. haha.

And Daddy are you happy that you watched the F1 race. I hope you were :) And how are my Gerbils?? O I'm so tired now. Ok haha I think I'll go sleep now. Hope to wake up late tomorrow. Its a thunderstorm tomorrow, with a cold front coming in. That will be exciting when I go out haha. ok

Yesterday was a wild morning, woke up to howling wind and crazy rain ,like a typhoon. Walked to church when it kind of slowed down, but was so wrong. haha. They wind was so strong and my umbrella kept flying, got wet and cold. And in the whole afternoon was like air-con, nice and cold. Went out to meet Miss Tan for Jap lunch, hehe, it was rather good. She dressed so differently from what she usually wears. Well today was freezing in the morning, lowest ever in September, 1 degree. Must be because of the wild weather yesterday. I didn't think it was that cold so I took my not so thick sweater to work, haha freezing man, and there was ice on the car windows. Cool...

Well by the time I reached work it was not that cold, I think they had the heater on. haha, but the store is doing like some kind of make over; so shelves are being pulled down and put up. Drilling and knocking and spray paints made the store smelly and noisy. And there were so many Red Back Spiders under one shelf. Never really seen a red back before, so it was quite interesting and DANGEROUS, but we were killing them, haha. They pop under your shoe when you step on them. haha.O well.I think I'll go now. So tired today.

Hello. Well woke up 2 hours ago, today was the only day I can wake up at 11. But my homestay was doing some kind of construction so there was banging drilling. errr. So noisy, and I can't sleep no more. Well decided to clean up my smelly fish tank. haha after 3 weeks. It smelled like rotting seaweed and alley, but haha damsel fish are really hardy, so they are still alive. And now I'm eating bread and nutella in my room. haha. Must hide all my food in a safe place. O well today is going to be my last free Saturday, the next time onwards will be working, so I decided to go out with Ryoma; but his still sleeping now :(
And I can't stop thinking if I have worms!!! Getting medication from JJ Jack. And 2 weeks ago Ryoma and I went to Hillarys AQWA, well 2 days ago there was a 15 meter dead humpback whale that washed up on to the beach where we were standing on. At the same spot where we were standing, darn. We missed it. But now haha there are sharks spotted, so I don't think I'll be going to the beach that soon. haha.

Hey hey, well today was really windy, and it was pouring like mad twice. And some guy brought in 17 baby Guinea Pigs. haha. Baby Boom. And when 5 rabbits pee in 1 spot, it will really smell horrible that you can taste it. I really think my job is some what one of the dirtiest ever, (boasting). haha. Have some Good News and Scary New.

Ok good news first, I got my FIRST ever PAY in cash. Wooohoo. Pet Magic will pay me every last day of the week that I work, A$11 per hour. I was so happy, finally, and this is my first ever job :) And another good news, I'm not afraid of fishes, haha ok let me rephrase that, I'm not afraid of small fishes. haha.
Today I sold lots of fishes, and there was this tank full of Fantail goldfish, and the old lady wanted 4 but the net caught like 7. So I had to use my bare hands to pick them out. They felt slimy and a little hard. Same as guppies and Fighters.
And another good news is, I made my first ever rabbit sale. it was so scary. A couple bought 2 cute dwarf rabbits for A$119.90, because of the breed. And so I had to walk the couple through what a rabbit needed, food, cage blar blar blar. I felt that I was talking quite fast, but they got it. haha. So it was all good. And I helped Pet Magic earn A$2oo++. Cool.

Ok scary news, I was at work today reading the notice board at the animal room, and a note said: All staff working at the Animal room (thats me), Please WORM yourself, as 9 cats has worms. So I might have WORMS from the cat. Darn cats. Well you see, the cat were brought to the vet sometime yesterday, and the vet said they had worms, and we had the cats for like 2 weeks back. haha. And now we are coming into cat season, haha today 5 kittens just came in. Apparently cats will have babies depending on the day light, so in winter less day light so no kittens, but now summer is coming up; longer day light. MORE KITTENS, means, MORE SCRATCHES. So ya I'll have to go get worming tablets.

Hey, guess whats the Good News, God has blessed me with another 4 baby Gerbils. Baby Boom... They are so small, the size of peanut, saw through web cam. haha. Will see if I can get pictures of them soon from daddy. Wonder if I can set a business by selling gerbils. haha

Ok here are the AQWA picture when I went with Ryoma, he wanted to go for along time so I brought him there. The first 2 pictures are memories from 1997. The first time when I came to Australia and AQWA. The first picture used to be where the dolphin show was 10 years back, but sadly someone poisoned the dolphins in the marina. You still can see the show seatings and layout of the enclosure. Can't really remember how the show was like, but I can remember that was the first time I saw a dolphin. Eye to eye. The second picture is just a statue I took picture with 10 years ago. haha I sound like a grandfather tell about the olden days.

Ok today is Murphy's Death Anniversary. Time really go by fast, its already 3 years since you died. Murphy lived his life to his fullest and made Claudia and me happy. Really miss you boy, wish you didn't go. You are no ordinary beagle, you were big and daring, even your coat was different colour from the other types of beagle
Sometimes I just wonder how Murphy felt when he was on the vet's table, waiting for death. Ya maybe thats why I don't really want to be a vet, can't dare to put animals down. But where ever you are Murphy boy, may,

SPRING FULL BLAST

Hey Ho Yo. haha. Went to Araluen Park to see the tulips bloom. Grandma and Grandpa came too :) Took lots of pictures at the park, loads of nice flowers and loads of people. haha. Well when I came back from Araluen, tried to load all the pictures onto the computer; but couldn't. The computer could not accept the pictures, was so so worried, I always can load it up. O well, guess what, I prayed and God answered it. YAYA. Thank You God. But out of 320 pictures I could only see 190, the rest were deleted. But ya Thanks God. So here are the pictures.
